Because I haven't seen a real answer to this question (I wonder why).

Objects can't feel. They don't have brains, they don't have nerves, they have no way to take in stimuli, or react to the environment in any way. Now, you may say a mentally disabled person may, not respond to stimuli, but they still have nerves. And a beating heart, and you can inject atropine into a heart, and it will speed up.

No matter what you inject into Rosy, she will never have a change in her heart beat (seeing as she doesn't have a heart).

Inanimate objects can't feel because they do not have a brain or nervous system. For some reason you are giving your pillow "Rosy" humanistic characteristics and should be of concern to you. I suggest that you go see a psychiatrist immediately.

I have a pooh bear. I've had him since I was two. He wears a red t-shirt that says"Benji's Pooh". My grandma, who was a pioneer made him for me. She is no longer here but I can feel her through him. Even though he is just an "object".

It's called 'transference'. You're transferring personal qualities of yours onto an inanimate object.
Could definately be cause to speak to a clinician regarding why you do this.

Do you worry she may not WANT to be your pillow? Perhaps she'd like a career in movie product placement...
