can someone explain what a pronoun is?? yea i learned this in like 1st grade....but i still don't get it and i forget all the time

Pronoun-any of a small set of words in a language that are used as substitutes for nouns or noun phrases and whose referents are named or understood in the context

This is just Basic...A noun is a Person Place or Thing
A Pronoun is a name for the Person,Place ,Or Thing.
So," The Car"(Noun) could be "The Chevrolet"(Pronoun).
or "The Ship" could be"The Aircraft Carrier"
or "The Ride" is "The RollerCoaster"

a pronoun is the title of a item place or person. like Mrs.Abbot or New York City

a pronoun is a name or place, and u use a capital letter at the beggining of it
