...so close to the elections? Does anyone else see this as possibly a ploy to garner support for the party's sagging approval ratings?

aahhhh ... ppl, i'm a moderate that swing votes using split party ticket based on issues.
you personally may have been speaking out the issues, but what about the ones elected to represent you? i'm asking why all the hoopla now? why not when we needed our voice represented?

I'm hoping to encourage more demand for accoutibility. I wished the "issues" would remain the "issues" and less about being "supportive" of the elected officials. Why should I continue to support those who don't stay on target?
Who says moderate has to been B-Team cheerleader for the Conservatives?
