I think it is about time to elect a woman president, but I would hate to see Bill skulking around the Whitehouse looking for used chairs to steal or random women to grope while his wife is busy with affairs of state. Try to think of some names of women that are not widely known, but none the less represent woment who have a proven record of accomplishment in their respective fields.

Easy question:

Any woman who has raised kids, each of whom have a job, a car that runs, a home of their own, no criminal record, and are basically happy, tax paying citizens.

That is success - as I define it. If they can raise good kids, they can run a country.

First off, I do like Gary's answer. I also agree that Oprah would probably be a good choice. With Hilary, I am trying, I'd like a women president, but I'm not getting the right vibes from her yet. I need to learn more about her and hear more about her issues. I would not vote for someone just to have the first women, black, etc. in office, I want to be sure that the person is a good candidate. I have to say I don't wholly agree with what you said about Bill. Yes, as a person in general, he had serious problems, but I think he was a great president. I care more about how a person does their job then their personal life. (Unless they raped or killed someone) John F. Kennedy did a lot for our country, but his life was a lot like Bill's too.

Hillary "turning the different cheek" on bill's infidelity is definitely a element on not desiring her as President. It shows that she'll settle for undesirable habit, which interprets into accepting undesirable legislations from Congress, and accepting undesirable strikes, including human rights violations, on the area of different international locations.

I wish there was another female candidate. I've lost faith in Hillary and have moved over to the Obama camp. We need a new Geraldine Ferraro. I think Nancy Pelosi would be a good choice, but I doubt that she'll be running any time soon.

Oprah for sure. She has the money, global appeal and power, and she's black.

And in a non-racist way, you could elect the first black person and woman at the same time.

I dont see the point of having a first female president, when there are better choices among the males avaiabel.
As one feminist put it "I dont care if she will ruin the country, as long as a woman is in office."
