Need more details. Ticking may probably be a leaky exhaust manifold.
Change the other 4 plugs and 2 wires while your looking for it.

Are you sure you've installed the wires all the way on the plugs? The "ticking" noise COULD be an ignition arc. Why did you only change four spark plugs?

I recently found the same tick in my Audi. When you go into the engine, leave it running. You should notice the sound still there. I located the source of mine... it was my serpentine belt. Either have it tightened or replaced. That should do the trick. They have a tendancy to wear over time and that can cause an unsettling and annoying tick.

if the noise only started after you did the work you may have 2 ign leads mixed up causing detonation, (or a loose spark plug), or it may be a coincidence that you now have an exhaust leak close to the engine, both of these noises will be more prevalent during acceleration.

It is likely either a lifter noise or you have an exhaust leak at either one of the manifolds or somewhere else in the exhaust system close by the engine.

I almost guarentee its the gasket where the pipe meets the manifold or header, my truck done the exact same thing.
