Chips An…>>>>KIDS PLAY WITH HOCKEY STICKS THE SAME ONE THEY USE IN ICE HOCKEY. I'VE PLAYED STREET HOCKEY WHEN I WAS A KID AND I ALWAYS USED A WOODEN STICK.

Simple, lay down the law. They can come get the ball but no playing on your driveway. That should be all you need to do. If they ignore you then ask the homeowner across the street to intervene. I doubt they'll do anything to you car though. I played ON the street for years as a kid and we never damaged any cars.

First of all you have to lighten up and get your hockey stick and go out there and play with them. That way you can let them know nicely about being careful around your car. If you don't play, just ask them nicely to be careful but don't be rude or come Halloween, you are toast. Let's face it, there are worse things they could be doing like breaking into your car so take the good with the bad.
My pet peeve is the little tricycle motors on my street expect you to weave all around them and the nets and the little #&#s just keep right on playing. When I was a kid, we would yell time out when a car would come by and move the nets, but like I said, they are having fun and could be doing worse things.
Another option, what we used to like to do, is go to the tennis courts and play there (helped keep th ball in as compared to chasing it a mile up the road) although nowadays around where I live, they have actual outdoor ball hockey rinks. If you plan on living there long term, suggest this to your local councillor/alderman/constituent or whatever you might call him in your neck of the woods. Pretty satisfying to see your tax dollars go to something that benefits you for a change.

Calm down, when the play leaves their driveway and comes into yours, they arent playing hockey anymore, they are just getting the ball back. If they were playing hockey in your driveway, thats a different story.

Most kids these days are staying inside playing xbox 360 and getting fat. It was quiet in my neighbourhood last year. Not one kid was playing ball hockey outside during the playoffs. Tell the kids nicely to watch out for your car. Ask them who their favorite players are and they just might shovel your driveway for you one day.

If these are little kids, I don't think they're going to do too much to your car - as is, they're probably only going to tap against your tire - at most. And honestly, if the ball keeps coming by you, then just purchase a net for them - you instantly get a great rep. with your neighbors, look like a fantastic guy and keep your car from any accidental minor dings - everybody wins (especially, you)

hm ... well lets see here, if it irritates you or annoys then it depends on varies of ways. lets see, you can ask them politely or give them a warning that you don't like it when the hockey ball ends up in your driveway. also, you can tell them nicely if they can place somewhere else or somewhere farther and not near where it can hit your driveway. there are many possibilities of solving this, so yeah.

Hey man I'm all about people playing hockey. However, your car is more important, so I'd go talk to them and tell them be careful with the ball.

in case you do not extremely like babies the sounds from them would nicely be seen as stressful. people who've young ones do not tend to understand how stressful they may well be to those that have not got them. The yelling and screaming of a interest like hockey would desire to definitely artwork my nerves on occasion. regrettably you do not own the actual street. All you're able to do is ask the youngsters to stay off of your aspects, yet whilst they are purely getting their ball it is not probably asking too lots. you would be able to desire to get extra bees with honey in case you attitude in a diverse way. have you ever tried speaking appropriate to the mothers and dads of the youngsters? perhaps they are blind to the interest or approximately how lots noise their young ones are making. you would be able to additionally attempt to source a diverse place for them to play (like a school backyard or rec midsection). You by no skill understand, those comparable young ones would advance as much as be astonishing adults. this is all purely area of being in an area. edit--- if the cones are detrimental your automobile then you definately would desire to communicate up as that's a probability. in the event that they are purely stressful run them over, every time. this is going to educate them to not pass away them in the line. they'd desire to be as attentive to you as you're of them.

Buy a stick and join the game. You can watch the car, and have a lot of fun at the same time.
