To me the worst day of the week is Sunday, because when I open my eyes every Sunday morning all I can think about is that the next day will be Monday. When Monday comes I just go to school and I'm glad that the next day will be Tuesday and therefore the week will be moving on until it comes the best day of all: Friday!!!! On fridays I feel so damn good, just thinking that the next day will be Saturday!!!
It's all about the perspective of the next day!!!!

I think we all don't really hate Monday but that since it's the beginning of the week we really don't like it for that reason. Think about it, as children we were groomed to go to school every Monday, killing our weekend, and fun. Work for most people starts Monday as well, and that song by I forget who....you know the one that goes,"Everyone is working for the weekend," well we abhor Monday cause it's the first day of school or work and it kills the fun. If Tuesday were the beginning of the week, I can bet that would be the worst day of the week. Monday's are okay with me because i see people who I might not see during the weekend. Just try to put a positive spin on it, and somehow it's a lot more tolerable. Trust me, it's cool.

I'm with you on that one. I especially hate a Monday that is right after a vacation or holiday. The only perk I have on Mondays is the fact I have a little extra time to get some things done, but I'm usually so lethargic that I don't get as much accomplished as I'd like.

I think Mondays are horrible. I'm a Junior taking 18 credit hours and I just finished opening a gallery show last week.
On Mondays I get to be:
unattractive (sweats or jeans)
sleep deprived (also unattractive)
binging on chocolate (what can I say? It keeps me awake)
annoyed by my classes (I used to love learning!)
really damn short (I can't walk straight in high heels when I'm tired!)
5 more reasons to hate Mondays.

Really Mondays aren't that bad unless you forgot something, or you didn't get enough sleep, and the list goes on and on.
There is a song by The BoomTown Rats Titled I Don't Like Mondays. A very entertaining song and all together monday pick-er-upper song :)

Everday should be a good day and be taken advantage of if you are healthy and alive...there are people out there that will give a million bucks to be able to see the sun or walk on the soft green grass! Be thankful you are more blessed! You GET to live another day!

Sweetheart, ANY day that themom is up and kicking is a GREAT day!! It makes not one jot of difference what day of the week it is, or what the weather is like, or what is going on in my personal life... any day I wake up and can get up under my own steam is a good day.
