My husband had a vasectomy about a year ago and now I am 1 1/2 weeks late. The only time I've ever been late is with my first 2 kids, but I don't have any symptons like I usually do. What are the chances I am pregnant? And could it be something else health wise? I am getting a pregnancy test done tommorow so I already know to do this. Thanks for any suggestions.

I wouldn't think you are pregnant but it is possible for his surgery to heal up after several years. I would just talk to a doctor but I wouldn't be too worried.

Well, vasectomies are only 90-something percent successful, so there is a chance you are pregnant. If your hunband isn't shooting blanks, you may want to consult with the surgeon who preformed his vasectomy. If you feel the need, you could always pursue legal action for compensation, especially if you plan to receive an abortion. Though, check the document signed by your husband. Many surgeons put a no-liability clause to protect them from vastectomies that don't work.
