I just discovered this series and now currently have all the american volumes (vol 8) and I was wondering if this manga series is still being written in Japan? I found a site that said that up to vol 10 is out in Japan but I can't find any information about if the series is still being written. PLEASE help! I guess I will just rewatch the anime again until I get an answer. Also any manga suggestions to someone who like Ouran Host Club would help to!

Yes, it is still on going, it's kind of slow though. But don't worry it's in the La La magazine, meaning there's more! I love the series too! Have you re-read the manga or read up to 10. If not you can always register at mangatraders.com and get manga up to 10 there. Hope this helps!

Yes it is still ongoing in La La shoujo manga magazine in Japan.
As far as I know there's 48 chapters available.
You can check out this site for great information on the manga status in Japan, there's a fan forum plus you can download the chapters of the manga.
