I think a better approach to your question might be to figure out what position you want to play, and then taylor your workout to meet the need of the position.

For an eighth grader, you have pretty good size, speed, & strength. But, where do you fall on a toughness scale?
When I was your age we had a kid on our team who could run the 100 yard dash in 10.2 seconds, was 215 Lbs., & was very strong. But, he could not handle the contact from being hit so often 'cause he was the HB...... Because he couldn't take it, he was tentitive while carrying the ball, he got hurt several times, and ended up as our TE & DE-WSLB.

Although they are important, speed, size & strength are not the only things that go into making a good football player. Desire & thoughness count too. We had a kid who was about your size, strength & speed on our team, and he was our best back. But, then again he LOVED the contact. He made all CIF as a sophomore, junior, and senior, took us far into the playoff each year, and helped win a championship in his soph year..... The sport of football has countless stories like that, but, where is your head & heart? If you can't do the crime, then don't ring the chime! (but if you can, then ring it loudly!!!!!) :)

good luck, the morrigan

ok...well there are a bunch of positions that you can play. If I were you, i would start with the Outside D Line get some sacks in, or play Linebacker if you get your 40 up. Possible Running Back or Tight End if you got good hands, and maybe O Line. DON'T be a Wide Reciever, Saftey, Corner, maybe QB and be like JaMarcus Russell, be able to shake off tacklers fi you got good vision, can throw and you are quick on your feet.

I say Full back and Linebacker. You fast enough and strong enough to open a hole for your runningback but also big enough and strong enough to plug a hole on D, But you will only succeed at these positions if you are consistant , and you got guts... if ya will stick your head in the play ..and make the play....

YOU ARE GOOD!!!!!
A linebacker on defense... You are fast, you are strong, you are tall and you are heavy... And I think your weight is mostly because of muscle cuz you can squat and squat clean real good... And you could have the intercepting skills like Cato June and Sackmaking skill like Shawne Merriman...

As in offense, a Runningback. The fact that you can weight lift well helps you a lot on breaking tackles... And you are in an age of growing a lot...

Suggestions: Eat more... You are kinda skinny... (Not too much)

Be sure you bench press too cuz in football, bench press is more important then squat...

Know football... Read some football books...
Here is one...

YOu know that really good quarterback..

Defensive end or OLB would be perfect for defense. Probably Tight end on offense if you have good hands, plus blocking rocks.
