About 2 months my mid-back started hurting when I was sleeping. I have been to a chiropractor several times, but it has not helped. It only hurts when I am sleeping, and has gotten progrssively worse. It almost always gets completely better within minutes of getting up in the morning.

I tried sleeping on every bed and couch in the house. No change. It only hurts a few hours into sleep (for rest of night), then better as soon as I sit up. I have heard this before from someone diagnosed with Leukemia. Has anyone heard anything like this?

You may need a new mattress. If you can't afford a new mattress right now, try putting a sheet of plywood cut to fit between your boxspring and mattress.

See a doctor and get your heart checked.

Also, see a different chiropractor.
