I am currently in a legal battle with my ex concerning the children. They don't want to see him because he's abusive. I don't mean to say that the decision on which parent to live with and when to visit the other parent should be solely up to the children, but there should be laws that give kids SOME say as to who they should spend their time with. As it is, all I have is my word against his and the kids cannot contribute to the decision.
I feel like a monster whenever I take them to see someone they have plainly told me they are afraid to be near.

I think I understand what it is you're asking; I would make a new law that requires people in this country to be able to spell and phrase complete sentences...
So the Gov't should take care of us and nobody should have any personal responsiblity? I know people who are in their late 30's and haven't come of age. I think all the laws that were on the books as of the 1920's are sufficient. But that's just me. Do we need more laws?... or fewer jails?

An useful law would be to require a person to serve their country in some way before receiving the right to vote.
Service could be in the military, community based, assistance to a governing body, humanitarian services, or other areas of service dedicated to the betterment of society.
I'm sure voting would be taken much more seriously if this were the case.

My law; you can't vote till your at least making $50,000.00. Why, anybody trying to make it will despise free loaders sucking almost $20,000.00 from you so they can sit on theirasses and make babies...

i would repeal thee 16th amendment (income tax) and replace it with the Fair Tax. this would improve our world by leaps and bounds. anyone with half a brain can understand it and anyone with even the weakest spine would have the courage to really support it.
