It gets complicated yet its quite simple: There are two characters I relate the most, Marvel's Cyclops and DC's Nigthwing.

Both of them stuggle hard to be the best they can, still they are not as absorbed in their goals as their mentors/surrogate fathers, both are cool in terms of not being completely full of rage and conditioning their point of view and actions to it, yet when the fighting time comes, they are ready, even if not eager.

Then again, both are tormented characters, they get deep wounds everytime they have to be the right man, at the right place, at the right time.

Ahem, they both love red heads (well, at least one did until not long ago... sorry, death because of movie fad is not an excuse for me...)

And probably the most important, both have a very strong bond with their surrogate fathers, or the image of them and seek their approval without quite feeling they get it...

I told ya it got complicated... ;)

Well, there are two possible answers to that question.

The character I feel the most empathy for is Daredevil. This is probably mostly because he's been so well-written over the last several years that it's impossible for anybody *not* to relate to him, if they're at all familiar with what it's like to be depressed, confused, traumatized, and going through a crisis.

The character I'm the most similar to, I'm sorry to say, is Bruce Banner from the Ultimates universe. :}
