How do you cite The Odyssey?..I have a translated copy and I was wondering if I'd cite it as "a book" or a "religious book"..Does anyone know the layout or the type of citation I would have to do for this source?..I'm really confused.

Help is needed and appreciated. Thanks so much in advance!

not a religious book. it is a not a book in the same meaning as the bible or the Torah. it is an entertainment book on the same level as Beowulf,Chaucer's Canterbury tales or may be on the level of the lord of the ring's. the Odyssey was meant to show how one man could over come overwhelming odds. or to put it simpler "love conquers all." put it down as the original adventure book. Odysseus is at the same level as john carter of mars. or maybe Conan "the barbarian" the hero that braves the wraith of god's men.giants, wizards(cerci was a witch.)storm's and unwanted house guest's. all so he could get back home twelve years later to the tender love of his wife. makes for a pretty good yarn. yah?

It is not a religious book. It it 'just' a story with a nice point to it about heroism and...well any Hollywood movie has it.
