I am thinking of purchasing a horn for my truck and have no idea how to wire it in. Do I need to go through the fuse box? I know i can ground it out on the metal anywhere on the car, but where do I put the Positive wire?

The current to blow the original horn(s) comes from the horn relay. You can unplug the original horn and plug the wire into your new horn. Or if you want the new horn to blow at the same time as the original horn(s) splice a wire into the wire going to the original horn(s) and plug it into your new horn... Good Luck...

Do you not have a horn already? How old is the thing?

You should be able to replace the existing one, and the postive goes to wherever the existing horn circuit is.
