This happens 6-12 days after ovulation.
implantation bleeding is not a reliable sign of pregnancy. Most women who are pregnant never have implantation bleeding. It happens to a 1 and every 3 women who experience pregnancy. Furthermore, many women who have what appears to be implantation bleeding are not pregnant.
It is when the embryo attatches itself to the uterine walls. The brownish color is old blood.
If you are trying to conceive Best of Luck:)

as a mother of 5 it is possible anytime of the month after you conceive to get the implantation bleeding, on average they say 8 days after you conceive but i know that it was about 12 days for my last son. I took it as an early period at first then that same day took a test said I was preg. It is also normal to spot during your preg, don't be concerned unless the blood gets bright red or is clotting. If you know when you conceived just count 8 to 12 days from that day and that is usally when the fetus will implant, most normal on the 8th day, but with 5 kids i pretty much know nothing is normal, everyone was different

Implantation bleeding generally occures 12 days after fertilization. Now, if you count from your 1st day of bleeding as day one of your cycle, usually ovulation happens on the 13th 14th or 15th day of your cycle. After 12-14 more days, if there is no egg, one bleeds again. If an egg is implanted, implatation bleeding can occur. So, if you are counting a complete cycle yes, it can.
Best wishes!
