He's no Chicken, he's very smart, why get in a fight when you can let the other participants beat themselves up less than a week before the match which will most definitely steal the show next Sunday.
He also is recovering from a broken jaw (on a serious note) which he suffered in his MITB qualifying match vs RVD.
