Yes, most Black and Latino people are tired with mainstream, commerical Rap/Hip-Hop and overcommericalized Urban contemporary with a Hip-Hop slant. I cannot stand when it White guy likes that like it is something that is going to change is life for the better. Mainstream Rap/Hip-Hop is dying and done to death. I don't fault anyone who scoffs at that, especially if there are not ethnic because only ethnic people can really grasp what a negative effect that rubbish has on ones mind, self-esteem and outlook on life. You all need to watch this documentary called "Hip-Hop: Beyond Beats and Rhymes." That breaks it down better than I could explaining it. Peace.

The people I hang out with don't. I listen to a whole lot of Hip-Hop/Rap and R&B. If they hear me singin something they juss come in and sing too.

well maybe they do but I'm white and i listen to hip hop rap probably like you and they never get mad at me just look at them back and smile and say love this music

They shouldn't. Blacks invented virtually every type of American popular music- rock was invented by blacks and even country has African-American and Irish roots.

I get the same thing...but it usually from older people instead of just black people...
