It is possible to disagree with a liberal without calling them a godless unpatriotic terrorist lover. Additionally you can tell a conservative they arent right without calling them a money grubbing, bible thumping, environment killer.

I get everyone saying it would be boring, but I seriously belive that this country has enough complex problem taht shouldnt be boring to solve.

I agree, but unfortunately those of us who yearn for respectful, intelligent debate seem to be in the minority. Personally, I try not to respond to those who fill their questions with diatribes, name calling, and innuendo. You see, I was taught that it is unfair to have a battle of wits with an unarmed person.

Yes it is possible. But is it likely or will it ever happen. NO!
The problem is this, some people don't even realize that we all have an opinion. That's one of the things that freedom stands for. Too many people are so closed minded that they cannot be even reasonable. For some, it's my way or the highway. Still some just 'give in' because they don't want to get into any conflict.
Course, I look at this way; 'Live and let live'.

The majority of people would not use this rhetoric in public.
The reason why it does not happen on web-blogs is because they are anonymous, it allows people's passion to interfere with their common sense.
