Engine oil is way too viscious to burn in a diesel engine straight. The only way to burn engine oils is to thin it with diesel at a low percentage oil to a high percentage diesel. However, in cold weather the two usually do not mix well. Furthermore if your not an off road user, say for agriculutural equipment the government is not going to like you doing this in the first place. If you think how hot your engine oil must get in normal operations and still doesn't burn up then you will see that is almost impractical to heat it enough to make it thin enough to pump into your injection system to burn. Take more energy than you can get back out of it.

In the 60's some trucking companies would filter there used motor oil through 5 or 6 filters then mix it into the fuel at about 10% oil to 90% diesel this worked in the summer but not cold weather later they stopped because of EPA regs.

you cant really do this ,the way your talking about doing it,kerosene will burn in a diesel because its is already refined, but engine oil in the way we use it in our engines now wont work with it,good luck.
