Great probability or not you've got to have at least some expectation he will do his part. Afterall If you can't trust your partner than how can him/her expect you to trust you to not just do his part when he holds up to his part of the bargain and finishes his part and you find out you did all that work for nothing and you feel shamed you didn't trust him. Trust him like you would want him to trust you.
