Pensacola Beach, it has white sand and you can drink
alcohol on the beach and there are a lot of water sports .I've
lived in Daytona and the world's greatest beach is a dud, it
just has a lot of people .

I haven't been there for a few years, but Daytona used to be great because you could drive right on the beach. My real favorite though is Fort Myers Beach. You can walk the beach and go from bar to bar and almost every one has live entertainment and is real casual.

It depends on what you like to do, bar hop, go to daytona. Surf, new Smyrna. coco beach is a good all around beach to go to.

It also depends on whether you like soft, white "sugar" sand or coarse sand. Beaches on the gulf coast are fine white-sand, on the east coast, they're tan or brown sand.
