i am TERRIFIED of spiders. i've never actually went up close to a snake besides in a tank so i'm not exactly sure if i'm really scared of them cus when they are in a tank it doesn't bother me to sit near them or anything but if a spider was in a tank i would not even be able to be in the same room as it let alone sit near it.

I hate spiders, but I'll tolerate them outdoors. I actually like have garter snakes around my house as long as they stay outdoors. Same with toads and bats. All of them help control vermin, and the snakes help control the toads.

My husband and I teach first aid and CPR classes...I dislike snakes and spiders sooooo much that he has to teach the portion of the class where we teach our students how to care for snake/spider bites! We have pictures we use to help better recognize this critters eeeeekkkkkk!!!!

As an outdoorsman and nature lover, I have to love all creatures big and small, slimy and slithery, smooth and leathery, creepy, crawly, bald or feathery. Although, I swear, there are more mosquitos,no seeums and gnats than we have birds and bats to eat 'em.
Your question reminds me of the old Jim Stafford song: " I don't like spiders and snakes, and that ain't what it takes to love me. If you wanna be loved my me."

I have no problem with either. Spiders eat bugs. Snakes eat mice and other small rodents..I find them useful. I would not kill either. I have an agreement with them.. They leave me alone I leave them alone

nope they freak me out lol -snakes way more then spiders- i dont really have an issue with spiders but snakes and cockroaches freak me out :)
