Actually, there just isn't much good news about Republicans right now no matter which channel you watch. That's not the media's fault.

I used to think that there was a liberal bias, but there is much more to it than that. Main steam media in our country is probably the most effective instrument in the destruction of our culture. If you are old enough to remember the 1950's, you can see how attitudes, values and morals have been effected by the media.
Everything that was uplifting and positive has been replaced by negativism, hedonism, and ridicule for traditional values. Mainstream media hate religion in general, and Christianity in particular. They have an ingrained hatred of our country.
Mainstream media have been in the lead at changing attitudes toward abortion and homosexuality. Can you imagine what would have happened to media executives if some of their programming, movies or recordings were released fifty years ago?
Media's function was to change attitudes, basically propaganda. There were other areas contributing to the undermining of our culture. The outrageous rulings of the Supreme Court over the last fifty years caused much of the problem. And of course, the politicians did their share to help destroy what we had.
So I really don't think that it is so much liberal bias, as it is intrinsically evil people, with an evil agenda.

Yes there is a liberal media bias. I'd feel badly if there wasn't. Members of the media spend most of their waking hours covering the news for a living. No other occupation knows the issues better than media members so naturally they tend to adopt a liberal viewpoint. It like bankers. They understand money and are usually good with their personal finances.

The idea that the media are monolithic is absurd. Even crazier is the allegation that the media are liberal.
Almost all America's media are owned by right wing advocates of capitalism. We have no Labor Party in America, or any kind of non-capitalist advocacy. Ask any Australian what the people down there think of Rupert Murdoch.
The only newspaper in America that tries to be free of bias is the CHRISTIAN SCIENCE MONITOR.
Alleged "liberal bias" belongs with unicorns, the tooth fairy and Santa Claus.

A study showed that people who watch Fox News are the least informed of all. The best-informed were those who consumed "liberal" news like NPR. See the link.
If there's a liberal bias, it's a bias toward quality news reporting.

Yes, the drive by, liberally biased, media is tainting our minds with rubbish, someone should stop them, but how can we?
Liberal doesn't just mean bush haters, but other things as well, like views on immigration, same sex marriage, and global warming, pay attention to which side they tend to go with.
In the words of a great man, liberallism is, indeed, a mental disorder

It replaced into stated that the CNN newsroom erupted in a cheer while Florida replaced into "gained" by way of Al Gore. It additionally jogs my memory of definitely the melancholy shown by way of fairly, Jennings, and Brokaw while the Republicans gained the domicile in 'ninety 4. you know, Liberals can say all they choose to approximately Fox, Limbaugh, etc have "balanced" the media. it rather is nonsense. pollafter pollsays the "objective" media is Liberal, and vote 80-ninety% Democrat. Why can not they admit it? you do not see Limbaugh and Savage hiding in the back of "objectivity." I heard Rowe on Limbaugh final week. he's articulate, humorous, and served his united states of america nicely. For goodness sake, he replaced into an adviser. in case you examine the Leftist blogs Rove and Cheney have been co-presidents!

Absolutely. The media is anti-business and pro-government and the irony is that the poor suffer the most. Business creates jobs for the poor, where they can learn skills to serve others and progress increasing their income. But media encourages them to turn to the govt for help and see business as their enemy. Do you think the govt helped the victims of Katrina well? Govt can't help those in need. It is huge and corrupt. But the media is pressing hard for the US to be like their model France, with high unemployment and high suicide rate. The poor will suffer most of all

Of course there is, their viewers for the most part aren't conglomerates or even business owners, mostly just employees of someone else. Do you think it's in their fiscal best interest to alienate their customer base? The media is big business as well and understands this.
