I'm in HR. Out of college starts in the high 30's. And with about 5 years of experience it's in the 50-70 range, typically.

Translates to 18 per hour out of college and more than 25 per hour after 5 years.

I am a global commodity manager for an electronics company. My degree was in operations management. It pays about $80,000 per year on the low end and around $120K on the high end and that is pay in the southern US where the average salary is around $25K. I imagine in New York or the west coats it would be upwards of $150K.The bonus of this job is that you get to travel internationally a lot and work with people from all over the world. I took the job when I turned 27 years old with only a bachelors degree from UNC Charlotte, so it is not like I went to a big name school or anything so it is possible for anyone to do. Within the first year on the job I was able to travel to Mexico several times, spent 1 month in China, 1 week in Malaysia, and 1 week in Romanina. Since then trips to these places along with Singapore, Japan, France, Germany, India, etc... are common place. If you want a good job that has a little adventure in it also, try to go for something business supply chain related witha global company.

I'm an entrepreneur. I gross $40,000+ per year and I enjoy what I do.

The enjoyment is more important than the money.
