I have brown hair so I dont really want to put lemon juice in it!

They say lemon juice + heat from a hair dryer or the sun will do it.

Put a small dab of gel in your palms. Rub around your hands, and shake your hands through your hair. With damp hair, of course.
If you go out, get some Garnier Fructis Surf Hair Texture Paste. Do like the gel, but after you use gel.

Try hydrogen peroxide mixed with water. Spray it on and go sit in the sun for bleached beach hair.
