It depends what subject the test is in. If its in math I would review all your notes and go over your homework and do any problems you had trouble with. Then do extra practice problems if you have time. If you have a test in science then you should try and make a study guide and write up all the main points and go over your notes. For history you should go over your notes and if you have any key terms you should review them and make sure you know them. For a foreign language I would go over the grammar and practice with your homework and learn all the vocab by either using flashcards, reading through them, writing them out or asking someone to test you. For English if its on a book then I would prepare by going over big themes in the book and passages that you talked about.

Hope this helps, and Good Luck!

Most likely the questions that maybe on your test could be from questions found at each chapters end. If you took notes in class, study those as well. A secret, whatever a teacher says twice, 9 times out of 10, those are on the test. I found a key way to study is to read over all your papers, questions with answers 2 or 3 times a day everyday, when the test time comes, you can remember the right answers. Good Luck to you.
