For me, it is the absolute most coolest thing iv'e ever seen, and it's my favorite 'character' in the movie, and i cant wait to see what it'll do in PotC: At World's End!!! =D

Yea i thought it was really kool too! I watched the speacial Feature on how they "made" it...It was pretty kool! Yea cant wait to see how Jack gets saved from it!

You should also check out the 'Kraken' in 1981's Clash Of The Titans! It comes in at the end and must be fought off by Persius to save the city. I would say that POTC did their Kraken as a tribute, but alas, the Kraken were believed to be real, in mythology anyway.
I think it's cool the way Sparrow entered the Kraken's mouth. But what's going on between the Kraken and Sparrow's hat? :-)

The Kraken was pretty sweet.... but i must say.... it wouldnt have been anything without its own presonal theme music which was pretty fricken sweet too
