The following may take up several weekends:

Catalog the biodiversity along one bank of a river or lake (20ft. or so), and discuss how the animals and plants interact to create the ecosystem. Collect a few plant samples. Take pictures.

If there are nesting birds in your area, you could study their behaviors and activities and present a descriptive paper. Consult with your teacher for the proper format for such a paper before starting.

Train worms to flinch to a bright light when they learn to associate the light to an electrical shock. Read Pavlov for this one.

And mold is always a good standby for a B.

You could put together a website extending knowledge about something you've covered in the course or that was mentioned.
Or you could a few more people together in the class and try to put together Science Olympics for an elementary school in your area. As long as you do some research and co-ordinate, it could work really well. I had to fight with my principal a bit to be able to do it, but that's what I did for 12U Bio culminating. It was much easier than writing up a huge essay on some complex biological thing with citations, etc. Call me lazy, but I had 12U English, Calculus and Chem that semester as well...I was looking for ANYTHING to make it easier. Good luck :)

Try the fibonacci sequece. Find things in nature that follow this sequence and why it works. It can apply to both math and biology. Many plants follow this sequence and the spiral sequence in sea shells and snail shells.

Maybe create a cell type display and show where things travel by physically having them travel (sort of like a dominoes effect, but not)...maybe create some tubing and use an air pump or something like that to push whatever material you are showing as traveling from one place to another. i dont know.
