I'm two years (almost to the day) older than my husband, but that's hardly a May/December romance.
My Dad, however, was 27 years older than my Mom (shades of Michael Douglas/Catherine Zeta-Jones) and they were deliriously happy until the day he died -- which is the major down side of relationships where one partner is significantly older than the other. My Mom was a widow at barely 50 with four children, the youngest just four years old, still at home.
Interestingly, none of my siblings married anyone significantly older (or younger) than they (one brother's wife is five years older).

For me, they're the best because May through September is when my allergies bother me the least.
OH! You mean the age thing? All for it. When I was 21, I married a guy 35. When I was 29, I was dating a guy 20 years my senior. I still like guys 20 yrs. my senior but, alas, I'm enterring that age span where they're going to start dying off,LOL!

They are different than people think. To the couple, it is like there really is no age difference, and they appreciate what the difference contributes to the other. For the 'other' people, it must seem very strange, and especially when the woman is much older than the man. But, they work, very well, in most cases.

As long as I'm the September and not the May, I have no problem with it.
PS: I'm really more of a December guy.
Actually closer to December 30th.

I believe that if you love somebody age, race, and anything else that separates people does not matter!
The only think that matters is that you have a person who fills your heart with happiness :)
