I took an IQ test once on www.tickle.com and I only scored a 91. Does this mean I am a retard and don't know anything?

Some of you sure are awfully rude. Come on I am human and I need love and compassion just like the rest of you.

Well I just took another IQ test in a less distracting room and scored a 104. IS THIS AT ALL BETTER?

Don't worry about it. Online IQ tests in general can't give you an accurate representation of your IQ, either because of a low ceiling or just because the questions aren't valid. However, if your IQ is 100, that would place you in the top 50% of the population... so take pride in the fact that you scored 104 (though I wouldn't necessarily call you a genius).
If you insist on taking a test online..... http://www.cbc.ca/testthenation/takethetest/ It is one of the few online tests I've encountered that mirrors an authentic IQ test.
An IQ of 104 is almost one standard deviation from 91, so yes, it is significantly better.

Intelligence tests are one of the most popular types of psychological tests in use today. On the majority of modern IQ tests, the average (or mean) score is set at 100 with a standard deviation of 15 so that scores conform to a normal distribution curve. This means that 68 percent of scores fall within one standard deviation of the mean (that is, between 85 and 115), and 95 percent of scores fall within two standard deviations (between 70 and 130).

No. Between 80 and 100 are considered to be average test scores, according to most studies.

If you are actually putting any weight into a test on tickle... then yes you may be a retard. I wouldn't hop on the short bus just yet. What you need to do is remove tickle.com from your favorites and stop testing your intelligence on websites like that.

Nope 70 is the threshhold for retardedness. Means you are in the normal range.

Most of the online ones are not accurate. They either make you look smarter or dumber, theres usually something behind it. Id suggest going to mensa or a psychologist if you want a real one.

91 is still average. It's low average, but still within normal limits.
