let me first explain that this problem is intermittent, it doesnt happen all the time, could go days before it does it again. while sitting in drive with my foot on the brake i can feel the tranny shift into neutral then back in to drive. it has also happened while cruising down the highway"shifting in to neutral then back in to drive.. but mostly at a stop.. what could this be? very annoying.. other than that the tranny shifts very smooth.. fluid looks fine and was just changed.. this has been going on for about a year now

From a posted review
Automatic transmission: 4T60E transmissions may drop out of drive while cruising, shift erratically, or have no second, third, or fourth gear because of a bad ground connection for the shift solenoids. Poor grounds also allow wrong gear starts. (1991-93)
Dashboard lights: Wiring problem could cause "Traction Engaged" light to illuminate. (1997)
