They can show us what a 'clean slate' looks like. My son has made me aware of all the things I have learned from an early age and how those things have affected me.

they can influence what you say by repeating what you have said...
they can influence what you do by copying your actions....
they can influence what you do as we buy things for them even when they are not with us....
they can influence what you do by giving you the strength to walk away from dangerous or negative situations...
they can influence what you do by making you want better for them....
