I agree with MM here.

Need more info. Your fish could be sick from a number of differnt things from a swim bladder (feed it greens like peas, greenbeans, lettuce) to not enough dissolved oxygen in the tank.

feel free to email or repost and we will try to help.

Does he have any clamped fins? Changing color?

It seems such as you need to have greater advantageous than one situation: a million. Your filter out could be way too effectual on your length of tank, thereby, sucking all your fish up into the filter out. 2. Your filter out is plenty too effectual, arising an exceptionally sturdy contemporary that finally placed on out and kill the fish, and then while ineffective get sucked up into the filter out. 3. a week isn't sufficient time to cycle the tank devoid of fish, so the creation of maximum of fish into an aquarium that small led to ammonia poisoning. 4. The cloudy water afterwards became a effect of a micro organism bloom, which returned factors to a spike in ammonia which killed the fish. 5. Your temperature is in simple terms too warm or too chilly in case you have anymore questions or indications, you may e mail me as i will want lots of information to diagnose right. i'm in simple terms offering a superb guess in step with what you have advised me.

Two things:
1) Why are people inferring that the fish is out of the water? Where is THAT coming from?

2) If you don't know what kind of fish it is, you shouldn't own it in the first place, and yes, once they start floating weirdly they're pretty much goners. Just feed him normally and he will die on his own. DON'T FLUSH HIM WHILE HE'S ALIVE!

I really want you to research your other fish to find out what they are and how to take care of them. A fish tank is not a lava lamp.
