Where should i shop for prep stuff?

Like I heard of American Eagle, Aeropostle, Arecombre and Fitch, and Hollister. Which would be best to go to. What is in style now and what kinda shoes should i get. sparrys or how ever u spell it?. W

abercrombie&fitch along with hollister are very big were i am from, Aeropostle really aint all that popular anymore since everyone & their moms shop there, literally. Buckle is another store you may want to look into. You can get sparrys at belks, they are like 70-90 for women, im not sure about men. but also there is a very popular flipflop, the Rainbows, everyone has them&& you can find them almost anywhere but Journeys is were a larger selection is.

I personally like shopping at American Eagle, Hollister and occasionally at Aeropostale. Their prices aren't too outrageous which is good for a college student like myself, when my funds can get low sometimes. For higher end stores, I highly recommend LaCoste. To me, the store screams PREP. You can also check out Abercrombie if you're wanting to spend more money, but I think that LaCoste has better quality and you really do get your money's worth when you buy something from LaCoste. I have a few pieces from there that I absolutely adore!

For the summer a lot of people are going with the patchwork shorts. You can pair the shorts with a polo (one of the must have items for any prep wardrobe) and finish everything off with a pair of Sperrys or Rainbow flip flops (two other key items) for the really warm days. Another bit of advice if you're planning on wearing a light color short, I'd pair that with a dark top and vice versa. You don't want to walk around the place looking like a sun ray or like you're into the whole dark thing. A nice balance is key. Hope this helps and happy shopping!!!

I think that the preppiest would be American Eagle. Both of my brother's shop there. They sell casual stuff along with polos and dress shirts.Hollister is very surfer-ish. Aeropostale is its own style. Abercrombie and Fitch is also preppy but not as preppy as American Eagle.

hollister and american eagle are really popular now. abercrombie and fitch is too. aeropostale is okay. other stores can be the gap or retail stores. but its mainly hollister.

GO to Abercrombie...i once bought a polo shirt from American Eagle..and it stretched...if anything get all your polos from Abercrombie (they're really well fitted..and they last long)...and get your undershirts from American eagle..(they're cheap and thin)

All of those are good bets. Try out all of them and see which one you like the best. Shoes, I'd suggest a preppy brand, like: Lacoste, or something like that. To find out exactly what's "in" look at what they are putting on the mannequins.

yes, those stores are good. also if you are looking for preppy you can go in your department stores and see if they have lacoste polo shirts. when you go in places like american eagle and abercrombie everything you see in there is basically in style. have fun and be yourself. good luck.
