Not at all. I find them comforting. We live in a society where people can dress in the most provocative way, or practice some pretty bizarre behavior, and not be oppressed by our government.

That's a good thing. Goth on.

No, not really. The only time they scare me is if they're my friend and they're threatening to kill themselves (that's happened many times before.) I do have gothic friends but I'm not goth myself. Listen to what they have to say about their lives. They may say 'Oh my life is pointless and it sucks,' or something like that, but listen to their reasoning behind it. Sometimes they do have a reason for the state they're in. Just because you're gothic, doesn't mean you're a bad person, which most people judge right away. Some are really nice when you get to know them well. And Hot Topic is cute too (where 'goths' and 'emos' like to shop)! Emos can be very nice too! So in a short answer, no, gothics don't scare me. I'm not gothic.

Sure, they may act weird, but hey.. they say the same thing about most of the preps. (Well that's the way things are in our school)

No discrimination or anything here =D

No, however I think that they think they are being non-conformist or individual, when in reality they are simply conforming to another group.

I would say that these people sometimes have a sad outlook on the world as well as a poor view of themselves. The pessimist in contrast to the optimist.

However, they tend to be very in touch with their emotions and have a strong sense for music.

However, from I have seen people who enter the Goth fashion/lifestyle tend to often outgrow it and move on.

I would rather sit on a bus with a Goth in full regalia, including body piercings, then next to a pressed white shirt, tie, and tan slacks type with a Bible in their lap. The Goth won't bother me. The Christian will keep nagging me about their religion until I move to the--metaphorical--back of the bus.

No, I find them a breath of fresh air in a sometimes stangnant culture. I admire them and wish that the goth culture had been around when I was a young person.

Yup. I saw one in back of me in the store and I just started praying. And the clothes! I live in Phoenix and they still wear black leather coats! Oh, and why do the guys wear makeup? That is not attractive in the least way.

maybe the way emo kids dress scares goths? lol, no, seriously. goth is quite possibly the sexiest thing on this planet. if goths scare you, your not afraid of goth, your afraid of things that arent you. goths dont bite (well, most of us dont), theres no reason to be scared.
