The milk is good for as long as you continue to give it, there is not a certain point that it goes "bad" or anything, it's always good.
My child is 21 months old, and continues to nurse.
It keeps them from getting sick, if baby is coming down with something, and their are germs floating around in baby's mouth, when he latches on to your nipple, those germs go up into your breast, and your body makes antibodies specific to that germ and secretes it in your milk so that the baby nurses and get's antibodies to fight whatever germs he is coming down with.
Often times baby's are getting healed up before they have even become sick.
My child has not had more than 3 cold's since he was born. Breastmilk is also good for baby's skin. I see so many toddlers his age with eczema and constantly runny noses, and it's so sad.
Keep nursing for as long as baby wants. The world health organization recommends at least 2 years before weaning. Usually they self wean between 3 and 4 years of age, and that's ok too, so don't let anyone tell you that it's not, if you want to keep nursing.

It's absolutely OK! I am still breastfeeding my 10 month old and she also gets some baby food. Have you considered doing that? It's a much easier transition for them rather than giving both formula and breastmilk. Plus when the time comes, you won't have to try and ween him/her off the breast and the bottle, which could be a difficult thing to do.

The World Health Organization recommends breastfeeding infants until the age of 2 years, so you're fine. There are many health benefits for the child associated with this. Giving a baby formula and breastfeeding wouldn't work too well as the baby would probably end up rejecting one or the other so I think you'll have to make up your mind what you want to do on that one.

Yes, you can continue to breastfeed -- the baby should also be eating purees and drinking water and some juices (no sugar added)
breastfeeding for at least the first year is recommended for the baby's neurological development and for reducing your risk of breast cancer. Beyond that is a personal choice, but it still offers health benefits to the child.

Yes, you may continue to breast feed. The American Association of Pediatricians recommends breastfeeding to one year and beyond. However, if you want to switch to formula, that is fine as well. The nutritional differences between breastmilk and formula is much greater when the baby is small.

I would continue breast feeding, but if your 7 month old is teething, I'd suggest you pump up for breast milk and give it to the baby via bottle.
Then you can starting weaning them to solids.
The more natural the better. But if you dry out, your last alternative is formula.

On one hand this would be a personal or cultural preference. I would ask the baby's Doctor to be sure he or she is getting all the nutrients it needs at this time. Most do not breastfeed beyond 1 year. More than likely at this point baby is getting other things aside from the breast milk. {I.E. cereal, perhaps vegetables}

Of course. You can breastfeed well into their early years...some natives used to breastfeed children as old as 12. Both formula and breastmilk is fine...but breastmilk is sweet and formula is not...may not sit well with babe.

yes until its a year old. Then switch to formula for a couple of months until its almost 2, then introduce some small foods, with formula as a staple. By 3 or 4 (different babies can mature VERY differently) they can eat normal (but less obviously, and steak will be hard to eat)
