What can xbox do that playstation cant and vice versa. which is better in graphics, the processor,ram, and high def.

GRAPHICS

Technically, all games that are on both consoles have better graphics on the PS3. Why? The 360 plays games in 1080i. The PS3 plays them in 1080p. It doesn't make that much of a difference, but it does mean the PS3 has better graphics.

As for exclusive games, it's hard to compare because they probably aren't exploiting ALL of the capabilities of the consoles. But the PS3 has an RSX graphics chip that the 360 doesn't have. So if the exclusive 360 games have better graphics than those for the PS3, the PS3 still has the potential for better graphics. We'll probably see much better graphics on the PS3 exclusive games this Fall.

As for movies, the PS3 wins by far. It plays Blue-Ray movies, which, unlike HD, are in 1080p, not 1080i. Most new releases of movies are in Blue-Ray, but not HD. The 360 can olny play movies in HD.

HARDWARE

The PS3 has 8 central processors, which means it can complete multiple tasks simultaneously. The 360 has only 1. The PS3 has an RSX graphics chip that the 360 doesn't have. The PS3 has 60GB. The 360 has 20GB. With all this extra power, you would think that the exclusive PS3 games would be far superior to even Halo 5. But we haven't really seen this happening...yet. If your willing to wait, you will see extremely awesome games better than anything you've ever seen. examples: Afrika, Warhawk, Lair, Motorstorm, Littlebigplanet, Resistance

CONTROLLER

The 360 controller has much better grip and shape for comfort, but this is really all it has going for it. You might say that it has vibration that the PS3 controller doesn't have, but Sony has settled their lawsuit with Immersion and will have vibration in a few months. The PS3 controller has tilt-functionallity. You either love it hate it, but most of the time, it's optional in case you hate it.

ONLINE

For now, the 360 is a better choice if your willing to pay for better online features. The PS3's is free, but it isn't as good right now. However, in Fall a new (built in) game for the PS3 will be released. It's called Home and it will shut up anyone who says the 360 has better online features. Google it and be amazed.


CONCLUSION

The PS3 will be getting a lot of new, cool stuff in the long run, like vibration, awesome games, and Blue-Ray DVDs. But the 360 is better if you had gotten it when it first came out. That way, you get a bunch of more time and fun outta playing it. But now, the PS3 is a better choice because it is rising above and B3YOND any other console.

And the Wii sucks.

In my opinion Xbox 360 wins. Xbox has Halo 3 and Fable 2, Halo Wars and Gears of War 2 and 3 but PS2 has What? Killzone 2 and thats about it. I would say that the Xbox 360 has better Graphics, Overall Xbox 360 wins in my opinion. It's better to buy a(n) Xbox 360 because it has really good games coming out.

if you have to buy a new system, make it the 360. it has a lot more games, good graphics, and who doesn't like pwning noobs on Halo? if the 360's to expensive for you, get the Wii. its really a lot of fun. although there aren't many games for it at the time, Twilight princess is a great game. plus, the wii is far less expensive than the PS3 therefore the PS3 should be at the bottom of the list. Too expensive.

i think the games are better on xbox. thats my personal opinion. i couldnt live without halo. and thats not on playstation. as to graphics and all that jazz, i dont know, i only have a 360, havent bought the ps3 yet, still alittle to out of my price range. but like i said, i only swear by the xbox because i like the games better.
