Helpppp! my girlfriend told me to stop doing something, and she turns right around and does the same thing?

my predicament is this...i was supposedly getting too close to this guy and by accident i sat too close. and the rule here at the college is...that the guy/girl have to be 6 in. apart and we need to have a third person. well, by accident, everybody left and we didn't know it. well, next thing u know, my girlfriend just runs right past. my friend, john leaves and she sits down and starts telling me that i shouldn't be getting so close and that i shouldn't be "alone" with him without a third person. it wasn't our faults. everyone just decided to leave. and she's like, he has a gf at home and i shouldn't be taking the advantage of that. well, now, i found her and john sitting on the same porch in the dark, without any third person, and by themselves. she's my friend, but i can't seem to go to talk to her about it. she's the type of girl to antagonize others, but when it comes to us antagonizing her, she gets all in an uproar. what should i do? should i be her friend still, or what?

This must be an Amish school I'm assuming. Go ahead and sit alone with a guy if you want. If your friend says anything rip into her about being a hypocrite and a lousy friend.Your college days will be over before you know it, don't hold back from having fun to make someone else happy.
