daveseslcafe.com is a good place to start. It is not recommended to go with a recruiter; you will be safest contacting schools directly.

Generally, I recommend Korea for a beginner, although I went to Mexico first and did fine. China and Saudi Arabia would be, I think, more challenging for a newbie to ESL. Thailand or Vietnam would be fun but the money is poor.

My own site on this is http://keneckert.com/resume/esl/guide.htm.

The first thing you need to know or decide is where "overseas" that you would like to go and if they need English teachers there. I come from Puerto Rico and there are too many Science teachers, which is my profession. When I moved to US the first thing I looked for where the states where the were in more need of Science teachers. My advice is that you pick a place with a language that you can speak fluently and where they really need English teachers. Living the culture is something that no matter how much you like that place is going to be a slow process and is going to be difficult because when you are away from home you even miss the people you dislike.
If you really want to do it, do it, keep in mind that if you don't adjust you can always go back home. Good luck!!

I suppose you may have the advantage of fitting a well instructor. Unlike such a lot askers on right here (who see English as a aspect time task to earn a speedy greenback) you're going to generally have a best time instructing English in Japan. First begin institution doing the typical topics English, Maths, Sciences and so on (your attention right here will have to be in English) Then head off to institution and predominant in English. In the U.K you, you'll mix an English measure with different matters. For instance you may have English and industry reviews, English and Spanish, English and accounting and so on, Have a appear into universities that can (now not definite if a few do) present English and Japanese.... (something it could be on the finish) and keep there for 4yrs, get your measure and you're most often set for Japan. If you're not sure, talk over with your careers officer approximately what to do. Good success
