It means to go berserk and try to kill everyone around you. The term became common in the 90's when several postal workers, suffering from personal problems and stress at work were fired, then came back to the post office where they worked and killed people. Now, "going postal" means out of control and dangerous.

Here's how to avoid going postal.
Better put, here is how to know for sure you're going to heaven.
Believe that Jesus took on human form. Lived a perfect sinless life, and died on the cross for our sins according to the scriptures. On the third day he rose from the dead and according to the scriptures, ascended into heaven. He's coming back again someday. Repent of your sins and trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior.

In the 90's there was a rash of post officer workers coming back to their office with automatic weapons and shooting up the place. Guess the workplace was not "happy".

To "run amuk" and attempt to all kill those "infidels" where you were employed.
Virtually no more military veterans were hired after this term was thought up by liberal yellow-journalist "news" persons.
John F***ing Kerry with his 3 band-aid Purple Hearts probably could not get hired presently.
