On your 2001 Chevrolet Truck Blazer 2WD, the Fuel Filter is:
Under vehicle, passenger side, below seating area,
front of fuel tank, mounted on chassis

Auto Zone did not have the info for your vehicle, BUT here is the one for a 1999 Chevy Truck. It is basically the same and SAME location. You find that certain parts like spark plugs, radiators, water hoses, thermostats, and etc. are all the same in repairing. Also the only difference will be the fuel filter itself but the PROCEDURES are the same.

Buy a Hayes Repair Manual. On Ebay, it is cheaper to buy
the cd, cuz then you just print what you need and NEVER have to worry where you put the book at like me.

REMEMBER, you want the repair manual. NOT the owners manual. You will have to search the site if one available.

Better get a haynes manual. The filter in the tank you only change with a new fuel pump. The inline filter in the frame under the drivers side front door is a little easier. But it will make a mess. Release the pressure. (In the shop we use the fuel pressure gauge and trip the bleeder valve.) Then a couple of wrenches and loosen the line nuts. Catch the leaking gas. Put in the new one. Check for leaks.
