I've done alot of research, and I don't feel like spending all of the cash for really good looking ripped (stylish looking) jeans. And I've tried some of the things people have said about washing your jeans with a half cup of bleach to fade them, and cutting a small hole and ripping them with your hand- but I was always a visual learner, so would anyone be able to do this on video for me? Maybe post it on youtube and post the link here? I would love it if you showed me how to use the cheese grater technique or any other method!! I would love you forever!

sprry no video. but the best way to make vintage jeans with just regular wore out look... just lay your jeans out and just take a knife to them. scrap it back in forth or you jeans and a couple minutes later you'lll have a whole and just keep doing it till your satified with your jeans. bleaching... best way hang them up out side and take a big paint brush and dip in bleach. throw the bleach at the jeans so you get random bleach marks. then hurry to throw them in the wash... bleach will eat through them. wash by their selves.

where in the world will u find a video???!! I can write what it says in a book about it....

Add a frayed and faded look to your jeans by using a plain old cheese grater. The effect will make your jeans look like you've had them forever,so aim to rough up spots that get the most abuse:Back pockets, hems,or knees.Gently rub an area of the jeans with a fine grater.Keep grating until you reached the desired effect.

i dont have any videos but try youtube. they have millions of videos for everything and anything. and out of the things you've mentione that you've tried. well one thing ii suggest is using a razor. slide it to wear down the part you want a rip than start moving it side to side creating a whole and than using your finger to create the strings across. i've done it to all my jeans and everyone assumes they're $80+ jeans from hollister or abercrombie.

Rub the edges on concrete to get that slightly frayed look.
