I have been curious about this particular question for a long time, so if i have 260 yen, how much would that be in US dollars?

Technically the exchange rate is what it is below:
260.00 Japan Yen = $2.20 United States Dollars

The Official exchange rate as of 11:51am 3-27-07 JST is as follows:
1 JPY = 0.00845840 USD 1 USD = 118.226 JPY

BUT, if you actually want to change that 260 yen into US$ you would have to pay a 3yen/$1.00 service fee. So, your 260yen in the real world would actually be: $2.14 US Dollars.

But, I doubt that a back or other place would want to actually exchange such a small amount. They might though.

♡It will vary from day to day Fabu_Liz.
I exchanged yen to dollars last week and then again this week and the amount was different both times.
You can always get the current dollar to yen rates here:
http://finance.yahoo.com/currency
Today $1 was worth 117.40 yen. So your 260 yen is about $2.21 -today.
Hope that helps!♡
