It actually all depends because some colleges will frown upon a "C" average in AP courses. It is actually better to make straight "A's" in regular courses then to constantly make "C's" in AP coursework. Some high schools are accused of grade inflation so that will hurt you a little but you can always rebound from a "C" in the next term. Good luck! :)

Getting a B in an AP class is the same as getting an A because they grade on the 5.0 scale.

Hard to say. Colleges wont be thrilled about the C, but they will see that you actually challenged yourself. For that reason AP classes are looked at by colleges much higher then regular or even honors classes.

It completley matters on the scale, there are dozens, that your school uses to calculate your GPA.
Some colleges would rather see you challenge yourself with an AP class than take C2 classes and get straight A's as long as you have extracurricular activites.

I would say it is about the same. AP classes are way harder than regular ones.

no, because it will make your gpa horrible. C's in highschool just dont cut it in college, not without a lot of work, there really isnt that much difference in ap classes, in most schools.

And some colleges won't give you credit for a class if you only got a C in it.
