Hey, go to any makeup counter or store and ask for a makeup setter.

Alot of lines make a spray/tonic that you spray on AFTER your make up... it really does help. I've heard that just distilled water spritzed on your face helps.

I've used one by GloMinerals that is really great!

You might want to try a more matte foundation because it will react less to the accumulation of oils and sweat whereas a dewier foundation tends to slide and slip with excess moisture, in my experience. If you're willing to pay a little more (I'm pretty sure it's under or around $30), MAC's Studio Fix Fluid is an amazing liquid foundation that gives you a flawless finish and does not budge once it's on, but the best part about is that you can't even feel it on your face. The way to make it stay on without slipping or fading is to apply it with a light hand using a fluffy brush (like for blush or powder products), and not a flat, stiff foundation brush (more prone to leave streaks). Using a separate powder brush, you can finish with a light dusting of loose powder to help set the foundation (though I personally skip this step and have no problems keeping my foundation on!).

You can try Maybelline's Dream Matte Mousse or L'Oreal's TrueMatch foundation. I've heard great reviews of both. You may also want to invest in a loose powder, because that can help set the foundation and keep it on longer.

First of all, they work at a counter. They're ALWAYS supposed to look flawless to sell their product!!! If they work behind a counter that means they have access to cosmetics and touch ups at all times. Although a primer does help, It's impossible to look that perfect at all times. We all need a tiny touch up once in a while. Cheapest primer I've used and does help keep your foundation longer is (Clinique instant perfector $16.50 for 1oz). You only need a little to diminish your pores and help your foundation stay longer. Also eye primers help too. My favorite is (Mary Kay waterproof eyeshadow primer). It goes on like a light lotion and it goes on clear. I hate other primers that have a concealer consistency and make your eye shadows look cakey. Hope this was helpful!

Use a makeup primer such as Smashbox Photo Finish Primer before you put on your makeup. Before you put on eyeshadow use an eye primer....I've used ones by both Mary Kay and Benefit and they both work great....your eyeshadow will stay put and not crease. Do not apply your makeup too heavily, wear foundation that matches your skin, apply little dots of concealer on blemishes/undereye circles(most people apply too much and it just draws attention), and give your moisturizer time to soak in/set for a few mins before you put on foundation so it doesnt slide.

Remember, those girls keep applying their makeup all day....beat them at their own game and use the right products for your skin, that will prolong the look, and use products with alot of pigment so the color will last.

Awww, thanks...I used to counter manage for Clinique...here's the secret...It's not about makeup...It's about skincare...If you have good skin everything looks better and lasts longer...color is color and while I still love some of the counter products I have mostly switched to drugstore for my foundation and mascara
Make sure you are faithful to a cleansing, exfoliating and moisturizing routine, morning and night, no matter your skin type and everything else will fall into place...Clinique has a money back guarantee on it...

Try Bare Minerals, they have a Mineral Vail that goes over the other makeup that helps it stay on longer and look fresher. It's a little pricey but it's worth it.

i always struggled with this problem myself, and then i discovered the Laura Mercier foundation primer. you just put it on before you do your makeup, let it sit for about a minute or two and then apply foundation, etc. after i tried it, my makeup stayed put for the entire day, i looked exactly the same in the morning as i did after 3 lectures at school!

They're pretty much make-up artists. They use like waterproof eyeliner and mascara, use a primer on their eyelids THEN eyeshadow, face primer THEN foundation, lip primer then lipstick that lasts like 4 hours. They don't walk around much so they're not going to sweat.
