I'm writing a research paper on the existence of aliens (as in the type that come on spaceships, not people from other countries) and I'm having a hard time finding reputable sources. All of my sources have to be either .gov or .edu sites, any relevant sites anyone has would be much appreciated!

This is a controlled subject, mostly Top Secret. But you might find something about Project Blue Book under the Air Force or Nasa. Good luck finding stuff on GRUDGE or MAJESTIC.

Right, they don't exist.

Eons of infinite galaxies and we're the only life within it.

Some people think Bush's ill policies don't exist but thankfully now we have a mess over in Iraq.

There's a lot of documentation on the Roswell incident in New Mexico. A lot of people think it's a scandal. But it hasn't been unproven either.

The History Channel did a really compelling under cover piece on it, interviewing some of the people that were said to be involved, should be easy to find.

A lot of this stuff is objective. Tough subject to either prove or debunk.

The only thing I can think of is looking for Project Blue Book. Not sure if there would anything online though as it was during the late 70's. You might find some info on English or Canadian sites as well. Project Blue Book is famous, a lot of things were cleared, some were not. I believe it was run by the USAF.

All the reputable sites will tell you that UFOs are just bad observations of common things, hallucinations, or outright hoaxes. I always wanted to perpetrate a UFO hoax, but never did :-). That is the main reason the topic is not considered science. Every reputable scientist who has tried to study UFOs has found nothing but a bunch of crazy reports that cannot be substantiated.

You're not really going to find much in the way of government or educational sites bothering with the topic. There's no scientific basis for it. You're just going to find some a bit far out sites with little credibility.

This website points to a French government report that should satisfy your need for reputable sources.

Can you please give this answer a good ranking if you think it helped you?
