We will be in Hawaii for Easter and the Easter Bunny will have to deliver my 3 girls' baskets to the hotel where we will be staying. I would so appreciate any ideas on pulling this off. Baskets would take up so much space in my luggage so I'd like to use something else. I'm afraid that chocolate would end up melted and I really don't have many other ideas. I welcome any suggestions.

Call ahead to the hotel you will be staying in, ask the hotel staff if they would pick up a couple of Easter Baskets and hold them for you when you arrive. Also, ask them if they would be able to help you with the chocolate situation, so that it wouldn't melt on route to the hotel.

Another idea would be to call Hershey chocolate and have it shipped to the hotel with your name on the package, that way it would arrive without you having to pack it and worry about it melting. Be sure to call the hotel and ask them if it would be okay to have the packages shipped there, then call them back after wards and tell them the date the packages will arrive.

I provided for you a link to Hershey's web site below. Have fun on your vacation, and Happy Easter to you and your little ones.

Whatever you do, pack it b/c if you bring it as a carry-on the TSA folks might find something metallic or sharp (like a bunny ear) and thus deem it to be suspicious!! We have plenty of stores here, so it might be best to buy the Easter loot here. And yes, chocolate will melt within minutes of landing in Kona and Honolulu!!

just bring the materials with you, like that grass thing, plastic eggs, jellybeans, peeps, stuffed bunnies, etc., and instead of basket maybe just buy any plastic bag in hawaii and when you get to the hotel or whatever just put it together, i dont think it takes long

instead of baskets...pack Easter or spring colored gift bags...they fold flat
buy the chocolate on the island
take other goodies that are not candy with you just hide it in your checked bag
