Lee Humphrey, born Apr 26 1984, is a 6'-2" starter on the 2006 men's Florida Gators basketball team, which won the 2006 NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Tournament on April 3, 2006. In the 2005-2006 basketball season, he set a school record for most 3 pointers in a season with 110. Also made 45.9% of his three point attempts.

Humphrey hails from Maryville, Tennessee. He graduated from Maryville High School in 2003. He was named Tennessee's Class AAA Mr. Basketball for the 2002-03 season after averaging 21.3 points, 4.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists.

On March 25th, 2007 in the St. Louis regional NCAA tournament game against the Oregon Ducks, the game was delayed 10 minutes to repair the net after Humphrey hit a 3 pointer that tore through it. In the same game Humphrey scored a school tournament record by hitting seven three pointers.

He is both an athletic and academic star, being the starter with the highest cumulative GPA.

The guy above, you cant just copy and paste with no source from any web sites. At the beginning of the year, No, i really had no idea who he was. This tournament, he is making a bigger impact.. So yes now he is more known.
