I have to do a project on costumes from around the world. For example, a kimono from Japan. But I can't do that one and are there any other good ones that would be easy-ish to research and draw?

Galabiya (sometimes spelled Jabaliya or Jalabiyah) are easy. Those are the colorful robes you see women wearing in Morocco or Egypt. Very easy to draw as it it's just a basic ankle length robe with lots of colors or designs. Or you could do Shalwar Kameez or Sari from South East Asia. Those are all fairly easy to draw and easy to find pictures off.
